Don’t Go to the USA Embassy to Apply for a Study Visa Without These Documents

Required Documents:

  • International passport with at least 6 months validity
  • 2 Passport Photographs
  • Birth certificate
  • Resumé
  • Driver’s license
  • Ds-160 confirmation printout
  • Service fee receipt
  • I-20 form
  • Visa fee receipt
  • Email printout of admission offer or acceptance letter
  • A list of all the colleges/universities applied to
  • Financial aid or scholarship letter
  • Emails with professors who have agreed to work with you

Admission Application Package:

  • Statement of Purpose (SOP)
  • Transcripts
  • Degrees
  • Recommendation letter
  • Employment contract (if applicable)
  • Bank statement of yourself or your sponsor (6 months old)

For Applicants with a Sponsor:

  • Sponsor’s payslip
  • Sponsor’s credit cards
  • Sponsor letter
  • Affidavit of support

Additional Documents:

  • Loan certificate (if using a loan)
  • Proof of funds (even with scholarship or grant)
