Akon – Pot of Gold

"Pot of Gold" is a song by Akon, released on November 15, 2005, as the fifth and final single from his debut studio album, Trouble, through SRC and Universal Records. Written by Akon and Shakim Williams and produced by Williams, the song was released only in Europe and became the sole Akon single never issued in the United States. It peaked at number 77 on the UK Singles Chart and number 95 in Germany, and its music video, directed by Gil Green, was released to Akon's YouTube channel in two versions, one clean and one explicit. The single closed out the commercial run of Trouble, the album that also produced "Locked Up," "Lonely," and "Belly Dancer (Bananza)."
