Written by Naeto C, born Naetochukwu Chikwe, alongside Ikechukwu Onunaku, and produced by Tee-Y Mix, the track blended American style rap delivery with a Hausa inflected hook and a Yoruba lined chorus built around the title phrase. The song helped You Know My "P" become one of the most popular Nigerian albums of 2008, selling over a million copies and introducing a new laid back, pop driven style of Nigerian rap.
