Linkin Park – In the End

"In the End" is a song by Linkin Park, released on September 11, 2001, as the fourth and final single from their debut studio album, Hybrid Theory, through Warner Bros. Records. Written by the full band and produced by Don Gilmore, who would later produce "Numb" on their follow up album Meteora, the track built its signature sound around a piano riff and the interplay between Mike Shinoda's rapped verses and Chester Bennington's vocals on the chorus. It topped the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and reached number three on the Mainstream Rock chart, becoming the band's highest charting single from Hybrid Theory and winning Best Rock Video at the MTV Video Music Awards. The song remains one of Linkin Park's most recognized tracks and has been streamed over a billion times on YouTube.
