2face Idibia – African Queen

"African Queen" is a song by 2face Idibia from his 2004 debut solo album Face 2 Face. Released shortly after the breakup of Plantashun Boiz, the love song praised the beauty, dignity, and value of an African woman through smooth melodies, reggae-influenced rhythms, and heartfelt lyrics. The track gained massive popularity across Africa and internationally, especially after appearing in the movie Phat Girlz, and became one of the defining Nigerian crossover songs of the 2000s.
